"Save from extinction" : an art video on endangered species

The little poem at the start of this animal protection theme video, called "Save from Extinction", is my modest contribution. I hope you like it, there are lots of awesome artists and music by Alex PapadiamantisMarco Turrini and many others! Many thanks also to Nantia Voutsina Plessa, Mimis Plessas & Kostis Plessas at Presspop.gr for publicizing this effort for the protection of endangered species and to the production team!

Poem by Xenia Dimitropoulou:

My species have lived for hundreds of years,
survived long winters and primitive spears,
but now I run for my life because of your greed,
mankind keeps making the whole planet bleed.
I wasn't put on this earth for you to club me to death
or scare me and torture me for cosmetic effect;
I was put on this earth to help you survive,
you have to protect me and keep me alive.
If the killings go on I will cease to exist;
be humane enough in this cause to enlist.
